Education: PhD in Biological Science from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Biology in 2010.

Research Field: Glycobiology, Lectinology, Proteomics, Cancer/Biomarkers, Extracellular vesicles

Research activities cover the field of glycobiology and focus around the glycosylation of tumor markers. The object of current research is human antigen CA125, which is expressed under various physiological conditions and the work relates to the structural heterogeneity related to expression under different(patho)physiological conditions, its glycoligand and mucin properties. Latest activities are centered in the field of extracellular vesicles (EVs), with emphasis on isolation and analysis of EVs from biological fluids such as amniotic fluid and seminal plasma.

Professional Activities:

Participates in the national project: “Structural heterogeneity and effects of complex carbohydrates (glycans) as key components of molecular recognition in biological systems” (project code 173010, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia, 2011-present).
