Lectinology and glycobiology. The application of lectins with known carbohydrate specificities in examination of structure of serum glycoproteins, such as immunoglobulin G, IGFBP and PSA. Examination of variations of carbohydrate moieties of glycoproteins in connection with certain physiological and pathological conditions. Determination and characterization of antibodies connected with the disease Myasthenia gravis (antibodies to acetylholine receptor and antibodies to muscle-specific tyrosine kinase).
Participates in the national project: Structural heterogeneity and effects of complex carbohydrates (glycans) as key components of molecular recognition in biological systems (project number 173010, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia, 2011-2017).
