Osnovne studije: Završio Prirodno-matematički fakultet Univerziteta u Novom Sadu 2009. godine, smer hemičar-biohemija.
Doktorsku disertaciju odbranio je na Hemijskom fakultetu, Univerziteta u Beogradu 2015. godine.

Oblasti istraživanja i rada:

Pripada timu istraživača koji se bavi fundamentalnim i primenjenim istraživanjima, koja se odnose na insulinu slične faktore rasta (IGF), njihove vezujuće proteine (IGFBP) i receptore (IGF-R) kod ljudi u različitim fiziološkim i patofiziološkim stanjima. Trenutni fokus istraživanja je usmeren na strukturnu i funkcionalnu karakterizaciju proteinskih kompleksa koji formiraju IGFBP-3 i transferin (IGFBP-3/Tf) te utvrđivanje njihove potencijalne uloge u nastanku i razvoju kolorektalnog karcinoma (CRC).

U okvirima medjunarodne naučne saradnje dr Goran Miljuš je učesnik na bilateralnom naučnom projektu sa partnerime iz Slovačke Akademije Nauka i dve COST akcije:
CA15133: FeSBionet “The Biogenesis of Iron-sulfur Proteins: from Cellular Biology to Molecular Aspects”,
CA16205: UNGAP “European Network on Understanding Gastrointestinal Absorption-related Processes”.
